2nd German press in Guitar Acoustic April 2010.Translation, more or less:
Both Necks Full:The sight of Double-neck guitars is something we’re used to, but the double-neck acoustic guitar of Terence Hansen is really something special. In London, the American is preparing to demonstrate his special tapping technique at the Guitar Nation Live 2010. The Dutch firm Heeres Ghitars has built him the special acoustic model with two detachable necks. These are mounted at an angle of 40 degrees. So that the construction of rosewood and spruce top is not broken by the twelve strings, it is reinforced with carbon fibers. Hansen had previously played two separate acoustic guitars at the same time, with an instrument on his knee and the other placed in a sophisticated position on the floor.
Gitaar Plus Magazine (Aug 2009) features the debut of the Heeres double neck acoustic at the Raalte Acoustic Strings Festival in Holland. Terence was one of the main attractions at the festival made legendary by Tommy Emanual, with great up-coming guitarists Gareth Pearson, Wim den Herder, and local virtuoso Mike Dowdle.
